Planning Permission was granted in June 2014 for this new eco house on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. The new house incorporates a variety of sustainable green design features. These include an air source heat pump (ASHP), underfloor heating, photovoltaic panel array, solar thermal water heating, rainwater recycling, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHP) and an off grid waste treatment plant including reed bed filtration. A super insulated building shell minimises heat losses and further reduce running costs for the home owner. The construction is due for completion mid 2015.
